Fall Annuals
Monday, October 9, 2006 at 1:31PM Two of my favorite fall traditions are the Ig Nobel Prizes and the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. 2006 does not disappoint.
This year's Ig Nobel winners include such gems as "Consequences of Erudite Vernacular Utilized Irrespective of Necessity: Problems with Using Long Words Needlessly," "Termination of Intractable Hiccups with Digital Rectal Massage, " and "Ultrasonic Velocity in Cheddar Cheese as Affected by Temperature."
This year's NM Christmas Book includes:
- a Virgin Galactic 6-person Charter to Space ($1,764,000.00)
- a 7' tall pencil skyscraper ($40,000.00) and
- an Extreme Backyard Water Park (starting at $100,000.00)
