Speaking Of Gangs

It's great to have the Gillmor Gang back in commission. Nice touch: Doug Kaye's guest intro and participation in the inaugural installment of the Gang-on-Podshow. The Gang hasn't lost a bit of its edge from being on hiatus for a bit; to the contrary, though it's a little tough to glean this just from audio, they all seem tan, rested (if liberally caffeinated), and ready.

TSS Gang

Where have I been? Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, Kevin Rose, and friends (the former Screen Savers), are back (have been back awhile now), as the TWITs!! (This Week in Tech.) Happy happy happy here. The podcast goodness just does not quit. Here are the show notes, and the feed. If you're as thrilled as I am, don't forget to donate (there are links to the right of each page):

TWiT is free - no subscription is ever necessary, but your donations help us keep it going and growing. All donors will receive special access, coupon codes, and other benefits as soon as we can con some companies into giving them to us.

About Abouts

Monica Bay grades the AmLaw top 10 law firms on the issue of poach-cloaking associates. Four get an A, not bad. What I really want to see though is a firm using technology that lets lawyers (all and sundry, of course) readily customize their bios at will, on the fly, with information that really tells people something about the bio-ee. As Marc Canter might call it, "The ultimate 'About Me' page." (And the grade from me'll go up to an A+ if it's not just lawyers we get to read about.)

Link Dump

A pile of stuff from my "for bgbg" label in Gmail:

There's much more there as yet unblogged of course, including "Today's New Blawgs" 'til the cows come home. Next time.
