Music Notes

Kriztal Entertainment's The Reindeer Room – a Chrismas Chillout features a band or artist called "DRM" doing Silent Night.

Adam Curry's non-RIAA de facto house band, The Lascivious Biddies, have 1) a great sound, 2) a blog, and 3) excellent ideas: "We are looking into having our live shows available for podcast the day after performance."

The Plural

Dave Winer's vision: "A radio station for every IP address...No, It's better than that, a radio station for every domain name." (Telephone disclaimer: that's paraphrased, not transcibed.) Bonus link, also via Dave, Steven Levy in Newsweek, The Alpha Bloggers: "In the tech conferences you can often spot them in person, clustering toward the wall so they can keep their laptops plugged in." And Doc's money quote: "Do you ask your back porch what its business plan is?"
