Don't Fear The Blobble

Om Malik (in the comments to this post about Chairman Powell; go here for links to the whole shootin' match): "My biggest fear is that we are coming to a time where 'blogs' have become the new 'dot-coms.'"

Mostly On

As Marc Canter points out, Michael Powell's blogging is the real deal. Witness his recap of his talk at AlwaysOn, in which he observes, among other much more interesting things, "[I]t takes some getting used to, having real time blogging going on while you are on stage."

I do find it clumsy and un-userfriendly that the AlwaysOn blogs are all permalink, no cattle. It would be nice to be able to refer to Tony Perkins, or Michael Powell, or Marc Canter, with a link to their AO blogs in toto (if blogs they be), rather than always having to point to particular posts. Or am I missing something?
